Taiwanese TV and movie actor Wu Mu-hsuen was recently forced to sign a pledge to support China's claim that democratic Taiwan is a part of China, or her the online drama "Hey! Come a bit closer" would never be aired. Wu's agent said Taiwanese artists are routinely forced to sign agreements backing Beijing's sovereignty over the self-governing island of 23 million people.
